EETTLib
Welcome
Welcome to the Energy-Efficient Train Timetabling Library (EETTLib)
We publish original data we acquired over the last eight years in two optimization projects with transport operators in Germany. These are Deutsche Bahn AG, the largest railway operator in Germany, and VAG Verkehrs-Aktiengesellschaft Nürnberg, the local provider of public transport in the city of Nuremberg who also operates its underground system.

Special thanks to Prof. Dr. Alexander Martin (FAU, Fraunhofer IIS) and Frederik Nöth (VAG).
We need your help!
The quality of EETTLib is only maintained if it is kept up-to-date and enhanced by its user.
You can help us in various ways:
- Submitting new solutions or dual bounds for existing test instances
- Using test instances from the EETTLIB in your computational studies
- Submitting new entries or corrections to the bibliography or the conference list
- Referencing EETTLIB in your papers.
If you want to submit or have any further information or comments to improve EETTLib, please do not hesitate and e-mail directly to andreas.baermann[at]fau.de.
